The recent political and media-driven attempt at re-igniting the Mommy Wars fizzled after the first skirmish, but the deeper conversation about a healthy life-work balance, for ourselves and our nation should continue.

You really don’t have to look too far these days to find news about the struggle for women’s rights that is discouraging, frustrating or downright maddening. So, in honor of Mother Nature’s seasonal display of beauty that happens despite depressing headlines, I’ve been looking for some good news to share.

It’s Women’s History Month and this year the theme for the national celebration is Women’s Education – Women’s Empowerment, and in that part of women’s history there is both much to learn and much to celebrate.
