Women's Fund of Rhode Island is pleased to share a new partnership! We are collaborating with Cocktails & Conversations, a quarterly convening of conversations for amazing women.
The mission is simple: to bring brilliant women together to change the world one conversation at a time. The events are a place where women entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, creatives, professionals, and community advocates come together to share ideas, celebrate one another, and build authentic connections.
Cocktails & Conversations was co-founded by Dennise M. Kowalczyk and Carrie McPherson, two of Rhode Island's biggest fans of celebrating the power of connection. Since launching the first event in 2023, Cocktails & Conversations has continued to evolve with experiences that celebrate the many ways women create impact. From evenings focused on business and entrepreneurship to conversations about philanthropy, storytelling, art, beauty, wellness, and community leadership, each event offers something unique while staying true to one important goal: creating a welcoming space where every woman belongs.
Along the way, it has had the privilege of partnering with incredible Rhode Island organizations and businesses that believe in the power of connection. These collaborations have highlighted local venues, support women-owned businesses, and recognize remarkable women who are making a difference throughout our communities.
"One of our proudest traditions is celebrating women who lead with generosity, courage, and collaboration," said group creator Dennise M. Kowalczyk. "When we open up a space where women can connect and harness the power of collective change, remarkable things happen." The Women in Philanthropy Celebration, an annual event that honors executive directors, board members, donors, and changemakers whose work often happens behind the scenes but whose impact is felt across Rhode Island, amplifies that message.
It is through the lens of collective impact that Cocktails & Conversations is partnering with the Women's Fund of Rhode Island to help amplify the important work of the Feminist Giving Circle in Rhode Island.
