Case for Giving

Women's Fund of Rhode Island is the only organization in the state whose mission and work is focused exclusively on gender equity.  Our mission is to invest in women and girls through advocacy, research and strategic partnerships designed to advance gender equity through systemic change.

When you donate to Women’s Fund of Rhode Island, your investment helps us to make real and lasting change on the state of gender equality in Rhode Island. Our donations directly fund research on the status of women and girls, the creation of new policies for a better Rhode Island, advocacy work to make sure legislation that is good for women and families becomes law, and community outreach which encourages people of all ages and from all walks of life to get involved in the political process. Since 2001, we have given out over $650,000 in grant funding to local organizations that also address gender inequity.
